This week, we kicked off our new collaborative project:
“Increasing Access to Skills and Employment in Tajikistan: Supporting Shabakahoi Taqsimoti Barq and its Inclusive Activities.”
At our first meeting, we were joined by a strong team of partners and stakeholders, including ACT Global, Shabakahoi Taqsimoti Barq (STB), the Institute of Energy of Tajikistan, and institutions under the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources (MEWR).
The project, supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), focuses on designing and implementing a dual-learning program that will help close skills gaps and increase job opportunities for youth and women in the energy sector, especially in Khatlon and Dushanbe.
This first meeting was a great chance to align on our shared goals, discuss how the project will unfold, and start building a more inclusive and practical training model. The kickoff set a solid foundation for collaboration, strategy, and impact – and we’re excited for what lies ahead.
