Through this assignment, the Consultants will support STB in reducing youth inclusion gaps by helping the Client in designing, formalizing and implementing a series of accredited dual learning programmes with about four local Technical and Vocational Education & Training (TVET) institutes or technical colleges/ universities.
Over the next five years, it is expected that the initiative will allow 245 young people, including at least 20 percent of female participants, to gain accredited market-relevant technical skills, with a focus on energy efficiency competences.
The curricula will be designed with a gender lens to target prospective female and male system operators, controllers, account and payment officers and other types of energy distribution specialists.
