Informational Web Portal on Small Hydropower

An objective of the project was to develop a dedicated SHP web portal for local stakeholders and potential investors.

• This portal is combined and provides easy access to commercial information concerning production, consumption, and prices;
• Information on legislation and systematic investment procedures;
• Basic information on SHP technology and cost parameters for construction and operation;
• Information on potential sites for SHP development including a status report for hydrological data.

The Web Portal also functions as Tajhydro/SHPD’s web page and provides information on the company’ activities as well as the progress of the Tajik-Norwegian SHP Initiative.

The web portal attempts to create a platform for interaction between interested stakeholders, including the expert community on issues concerning SHP development.
