Potential Pilot Project Identification – Prefeasibility study in Anzon and Isfara Rivers

The objective of the project is conducting a pre-feasibility study that includes assessment of geographical, hydrological, and financial parameters of Anzob and Lakkon Rivers in Sugd Region.

The aim was to decide whether the existing technical potential and background situation are beneficial for the successful development of commercial small hydropower plant, which should improve reliability and quality of electricity supply in the area.

The key objectives of the Project are:

  • to conduct a pre-feasibility study for further initiation of the feasibility study;
  • to develop a financial scheme of the potential project for potential investors;
  • searching further financing of the project through international partners.
